Finance Associate, Restructuring & Special Situations — Houston

A national restructuring finance team is seeking an associate to join its Business Restructuring & Reorganization practice in Houston. The role focuses on special situations and capital-structure work within bankruptcy and out-of-court restructurings.

Ideal candidates will have transactional experience on liability-management transactions, debtor-in-possession (DIP) financings, bankruptcy exit financings and other special-situations financings. Associates will work on top-of-capital-structure matters for financial institutions and investment funds.

• Graduates from law school class years 2019–2023
• Experience representing creditors or borrowers on liability management, DIP and exit financings
• Experience with distressed-debt, chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings
• Familiarity representing hedge funds, CLOs, private equity funds or other financial institutions preferred
