Seeking an associate to join a national financial markets team in the Washington office. The role focuses on enforcement and regulatory work for financial institutions, market participants and fintechs across commodities, banking and securities regimes.

Responsibilities include legal research and analysis, preparing filings and submissions in enforcement, application and regulatory matters before federal regulators and state banking authorities, and assisting with fact gathering and case preparation. The team values collaborative work, strong writing skills and solid academic credentials.

3–6 years of post-qualification experience in law firm, government, or in-house practice advising financial institutions, market participants or fintechs
Experience on enforcement or regulatory matters under commodities, banking or securities laws
Comfort preparing regulatory filings and submissions and conducting legal research and factual development
Strong academic record, excellent writing and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in teams
Active U.S. bar admission (or eligibility)
