A full-service, AmLaw 100 firm is seeking an attorney to join its Insurance Coverage Practice in its Tampa, Florida office. The role centers on analyzing insurance coverage and preparing coverage opinions involving first-party property and general liability matters, alongside active litigation work.

The practice is a recognized leader in insurance coverage and claims, focusing on contract interpretation and representing insurers in complex coverage disputes. Representation spans monitoring, mediations, arbitrations, and declaratory relief litigation in state and federal courts nationwide. Clients include primary and excess insurers, reinsurers, third-party administrators, managing general agents, brokers and agents, and independent adjustment companies across virtually every line of business.

While prior insurance law experience is preferred, the firm welcomes talented litigators with strong substantive litigation skills and a demonstrated interest in insurance law. Well-qualified candidates with relevant experience may be considered for partnership opportunities.

2–15 years of experience analyzing insurance coverage and preparing coverage opinions on first-party property and general liability matters
Litigation experience, including taking depositions, attending court hearings, and drafting and arguing motions
Strong research and writing skills
Admission to the Florida Bar
Substantive litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in insurance law
