Insurance Coverage Attorney — Insurance (Chicago)

Seeking an insurance coverage attorney to join a busy Chicago insurance practice handling coverage counseling and coverage litigation across a wide range of policies and claims. The role involves evaluating coverage issues, drafting coverage opinions, and representing insurers in state and federal courts.

Typical matters include prosecuting and defending declaratory judgment actions, handling alleged bad-faith claims, and participating in mediations and arbitrations. The position requires strong legal research and writing and admission to the Illinois bar. Hybrid working arrangements are available.

• 1-7 years' experience in insurance coverage and related litigation
• Admission to the Illinois bar required
• Experience representing insurers in state and federal courts; experience with declaratory judgment and bad-faith matters
• Strong legal research, analysis and writing skills
