The role focuses on counseling clients on regulatory aspects of inbound and outbound investments, trade-related restructuring, and mitigation of duties and tariff exposure in cross-border transactions.
Work will include trade due diligence for M&A and other transactions, analysis of sanctions risks across multiple jurisdictions, guidance on foreign direct investment considerations in deal documentation, and support on matters involving the space sector and global satellite projects.
- J.D. and admission (or eligibility) to practice in New York.
- Experience advising on international trade, sanctions, and export controls in a transactional/regulatory context.
- Background supporting cross-border M&A or restructuring, and conducting trade-related due diligence.
- Strong transactional drafting skills and ability to analyze multi-jurisdictional regulatory regimes.
- Comfort working with global teams and supporting clients in regulated sectors (e.g., aerospace/space).
