We are seeking an experienced investment funds associate to join a large, highly active investment funds practice in the Chicago office. The role focuses on representing fund sponsors in the formation, structuring and operation of private investment funds across a range of strategies and products.

Successful candidates will join a busy team advising sophisticated sponsor clients on fund documentation, governance and related transactional matters. The position offers significant exposure to complex fund matters and market-leading peers.

The role includes a competitive salary and benefits package; the current hiring range listed for this position is $260,000–$390,000.

3–6 years PQE in corporate/financial services or investment funds work at a leading national or international law firm
Proven experience representing fund sponsors on fund formation, structuring and operational matters
Strong fund documentation and transactional skills; comfortable with partnership/LPAs, management company arrangements and related commercial agreements
Excellent drafting, client communication and teamwork abilities; active U.S. bar admission
