Apply in confidence →Seeking a 2–6 year associate to join a national life-sciences IP litigation team handling Hatch‑Waxman/ANDA and related patent disputes. The role involves active courtroom and deposition work, direct client and opposing‑counsel interaction, and contribution to case strategy across district court and post‑grant proceedings.
Successful candidates will work collaboratively on fact development, claim construction, discovery (including expert discovery), dispositive and discovery motions, and pre‑trial/trial preparation. The team offers exposure to complex pharmaceutical patent litigation and expects associates to be comfortable taking on substantial responsibility.
- 2–6 years of patent litigation experience with ANDA or other life‑sciences matters
- Experience in U.S. District Courts and post‑grant proceedings (PTAB) preferred
- Proven deposition and courtroom experience (taking/defending depositions and participating in trial activities)
- Strong drafting and legal research skills; experience drafting pleadings, claim construction briefs, and dispositive/discovery motions
- Comfortable engaging directly with clients and opposing counsel and participating in case strategy
- Undergraduate or master’s degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or related life‑sciences discipline preferred; strong academic record from law school
