Apply in confidence →Growing U.S. IP litigation team seeks a 2nd–6th year associate with strong patent-litigation experience. The role involves active participation in case strategy, client-facing work, and courtroom and deposition advocacy across district-court and post-grant (PTAB) matters.
Ideal candidates enjoy collaborative team work, think creatively about technical and legal issues, and are comfortable handling discovery, claim construction, dispositive motion practice, and trial preparation. Candidates with an undergraduate or master’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering, computer science or physics are preferred.
- 2–6 years of patent litigation experience in U.S. District Court and PTAB/post‑grant proceedings
- Experience conducting factual and legal research; drafting pleadings, discovery, claim construction, and dispositive motions
- Deposition and courtroom experience (taking and defending depositions; trial participation preferred)
- Technical background preferred (EE, ME, CS, physics) and excellent legal writing skills
- Comfort communicating directly with clients and opposing counsel; strong teamwork and strategic thinking
