We are seeking an enthusiastic newly qualified or junior solicitor to join an expanding Defence Insurance team in Belfast. The team handles a broad range of litigation, including motor, disease, employers' liability and public liability claims.

Working closely with experienced lawyers, you will have regular contact with insurer clients and self-insured organisations. The team is collaborative and supportive, offering junior lawyers a strong environment in which to develop technical skills, confidence and experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their career who is keen to build expertise in defence litigation, take on greater responsibility and develop strong client relationships. Hybrid working is offered, with two days in the office and three days from home.

Newly qualified solicitor or up to approximately two years' post-qualification experience
Ideally exposure to personal injury, insurance or litigation work during training or since qualification
Interest in developing a career within defendant insurance litigation
Organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Analytical mindset and commitment to developing technical knowledge
Commitment to delivering a professional and responsive service to clients
Comfortable working collaboratively within a busy, supportive team
