A leading global law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its award-winning insurance team in Belfast, handling a diverse caseload of fraud and motor claims from inception through to resolution.

The role involves thorough investigations — gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses and instructing experts — as well as drafting pleadings, witness statements and settlement agreements. You will provide strategic advice to clients, represent them in court proceedings and settlement negotiations, and stay current on legislation, case law and industry trends.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm to deliver integrated legal solutions, maintain compliance with regulatory and professional standards, and help coach and develop more junior team members.

Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE in fraud and motor claims
Strong knowledge of fraud and motor insurance law, civil procedure and litigation processes
Proven ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision
Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills
Experience with high-value or complex claims is advantageous
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a strong client-service commitment
