Private Equity Debt Finance – Junior Associate (New York)

A highly regarded law firm is seeking a junior associate to join its Debt Finance group in New York. This role focuses on representing private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders in connection with term and revolving loan facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, and corporate growth matters.

The successful candidate will work with credit agreements and commitment papers and will draft and negotiate related collateral agreements and deliverables. This is a hands-on opportunity within a collaborative, entrepreneurial practice.

• Junior associate level with experience in private equity debt finance or leveraged finance
• Experience representing private equity sponsors and/or banks and private credit lenders in term and revolving loan facilities
• Familiarity with credit agreements, commitment papers, and related collateral agreements and deliverables
• Outstanding academic credentials and comparable law firm experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) required
