An experienced English commercial real estate lawyer is sought for a senior, influential Knowledge & Development Lawyer role within a market-leading English Real Estate team. This position focuses on shaping how legal knowledge is captured, shared and applied across the practice, supporting lawyers on complex, high-value real estate matters.

Working closely with English Real Estate partners, fee earners and fellow Knowledge & Development Lawyers, the successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with strategic thinking, collaboration and a genuine enthusiasm for learning and innovation. Responsibilities include leading training across the team, keeping lawyers informed of key legal and market developments, advising on complex queries, and creating and maintaining practical knowledge resources.

The role also involves promoting knowledge sharing and exploring new technology to enhance client service and keep the practice ahead of the curve. It suits either an existing knowledge lawyer or an experienced transactional lawyer looking to apply their expertise in a different way.

First-class knowledge of a broad range of English commercial real estate law
At least 8 years' post-qualification experience
Strong understanding of both legal practice and the client perspective
Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working independently
Able to drive initiatives, embrace improvement and change, and build strong relationships
Engaging communicator, confident presenting to groups and keen to help others learn and succeed
