Apply in confidence →Seek a motivated Knowledge Management Associate to support a national Capital Markets practice from the Washington, D.C. office. The role combines substantive securities expertise with KM responsibilities across four core functions: training & development, substantive communications, knowledge resources and innovation, with an emphasis on translating practice knowledge into AI-enabled tools and workflows.
Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and delivering training, producing timely practice updates and client-facing materials, maintaining standard forms and resource libraries, and partnering with innovation/IT teams to build and deploy AI-driven resources (prompt architecture, agentic workflows and structured knowledge systems). The role requires close collaboration with Capital Markets attorneys, practice KM leads and the firm-wide innovation group.
The team offers formal review processes and cross-practice collaboration; this position is hands-on and suited to an attorney who is organized, proactive, and enthusiastic about applying AI and legal technology to scale partner-level judgment.
- Active license to practice law
- At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in securities law, capital markets transactions and corporate governance
- Strong working knowledge of the Securities Act (33 Act), Exchange Act (34 Act), Delaware law and public company governance norms
- Familiarity with equity and debt offerings (IPOs, follow-ons, high-yield/investment-grade) and public company disclosure
- Excellent drafting and oral communication skills; experience preparing updates, slide decks and standard documents
- Demonstrated project management and organization skills; able to manage multiple workstreams
- Genuine interest in AI and legal technology; comfortable learning prompt design, AI workflow architecture and performance evaluation (prior AI experience a plus)
- Experience in KM or implementing KM resources is beneficial but not required
