A global Am Law 100 full-service law firm seeks a Labor & Employment Associate with at least 3 years of experience to join its team. The position is based in California, with flexibility to sit in several major California offices. The firm's Labor & Employment group is one of the largest in the country, advising employers of all sizes on the full spectrum of workplace matters.

The Traditional Labor team is growing and seeks an associate with strong traditional labor experience. The role involves hands-on work on union campaigns and organizing, NLRB advocacy and litigation, grievance and arbitration, collective bargaining, crisis management, and labor aspects of corporate transactions. Candidates must be admitted to the California Bar and have high grades.

At least 3 years of traditional labor law experience
Experience advising on union organizing drives, vulnerability assessments, and strategic communication campaigns
Track record handling unfair labor practice proceedings, representation cases, hearings, and related litigation before the NLRB and state labor relations boards
Skill in handling contract grievances, contract interpretations, and representing management in labor arbitrations
Experience as spokesperson or strategist in collective bargaining negotiations, drafting contract language, and advising on labor agreements
Ability to provide rapid-response strategic counseling for labor disputes, corporate restructuring, strikes, picketing, and other workplace crises
Experience counseling private equity funds, strategic buyers, and corporate clients on labor and employment aspects of mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and development projects
Admitted to and a member in good standing of the California Bar
