An Am Law 100 full-service firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate with at least 5 years of employment litigation experience for its San Francisco office. The firm's Labor & Employment group is among the largest in the country, with more than 150 attorneys firmwide, and the San Francisco team of roughly 35 attorneys continues to grow due to strong performance.

The group advises employers of all sizes — from Fortune 100 companies to technology and traditional business startups — on the full spectrum of workplace matters, including employment counseling, disputes and litigation, international employment and mobility, and union-management relations. The practice brings deep expertise to wage and hour, class and collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, employment agreements, layoffs, and ERISA.

This is a full-time associate position based in San Francisco, with an expectation of at least three days per week in the office. The annual salary range is $365,000 to $390,000. A resume, cover letter, and law school transcript are required to apply.

At least 5 years of employment litigation experience
Strong litigation skills
Deep experience with class and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) representative actions
Ability to take ownership of cases and lead through class certification
Experience researching, writing, and arguing motions
Conducting complex fact investigations and analysis
Experience taking and defending depositions
High academic credentials
Admitted to and a member in good standing of the California Bar
