Lateral Partner, Insolvency & Restructuring — Ottawa

Senior-level opening for an insolvency and restructuring leader to join a well-regarded Canadian firm’s Ottawa office. The role will involve managing a broad slate of insolvency matters, with responsibility for both litigation and transactional work across the insolvency spectrum.

We are seeking a commercially minded, entrepreneurial practitioner who can develop and grow a client base and contribute to practice development. Preference will be given to candidates with strong experience on debtor-side mandates, though well-rounded insolvency experience is valued.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Proven track record managing insolvency matters, including litigation and transactional files
• Comfortable across advisory, restructuring and contentious aspects of insolvency practice
• Entrepreneurial mindset with appetite to originate and develop client relationships; preference for debtor-side experience
