Legal Consultant (Interim) — Construction & Infrastructure

Apply in confidence →Short-term legal consultancy roles (typically 3–12 months, often full time) supporting construction and infrastructure projects across the UAE, with frequent assignments based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai. Assignments range from drafting contract suites and templates to providing front‑end construction advice to in‑house teams and public sector clients.
Work will focus on non-contentious construction matters, including FIDIC and bespoke construction contracts, O&M/FM agreements and advisory support for contractors, subcontractors and design professionals. Flexible and hybrid arrangements may be available depending on the assignment.
- 5–7 years' post‑qualification experience in non‑contentious construction and infrastructure law
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating FIDIC and bespoke construction contracts; experience with O&M and FM contracts
- Experience on projects such as power, transport, buildings and large infrastructure schemes
- Previous experience at a recognised top‑tier construction/projects practice; in‑house experience in energy, transport or infrastructure desirable
- Middle East experience preferred; Arabic language skills an advantage
- Valid practising certificate or equivalent entitling candidate to practise in the region
