Mid-level associate role within a life sciences-focused intellectual property group in the New York office. The position centers on counseling life sciences and technology clients on IP licensing, technology transfers and related commercial arrangements.

Day-to-day work includes drafting and negotiating patent and trademark licenses, collaboration and joint development agreements, technology and services agreements (including SaaS), distribution agreements, and supporting IP-related due diligence for corporate transactions and technology transfers.

3–4 years' relevant experience in IP licensing, technology transactions, or life sciences licensing
Proven experience drafting and negotiating patent, trademark and technology license agreements, joint development/collaboration agreements, and related commercial contracts
Experience performing IP and technology-transaction due diligence for corporate matters
Ability to manage substantial components of transactions independently and to work effectively in teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong academic credentials
Bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) required
