A leading law firm is seeking a highly qualified mid-level associate to join its Debt Finance group in Santa Monica. The position focuses on private equity debt finance, representing private equity sponsors and/or banks and private credit lenders in connection with term and revolving loan facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, and corporate growth.

The successful candidate will draft and negotiate commitment papers, credit agreements, and collateral documents. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated debt finance transactions in a collaborative, collegial, and entrepreneurial environment.

Mid-level associate with comparable law firm experience
Experience representing private equity sponsors and/or banks and private credit lenders in debt finance transactions
Experience drafting and negotiating commitment papers, credit agreements, and collateral documents
Outstanding academic credentials
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly)
