Private Equity M&A – Junior Associate (Santa Monica)

A leading US law firm is seeking a junior associate to join its Private Equity group in its Santa Monica office.

The ideal candidate has some experience or a demonstrated interest in private M&A and growth equity transactions, with a basic understanding of the diligence process, ancillary workstreams, and coordinating signing and closing processes. The role involves proactive communication and effective management of internal and external client and counsel relationships.

• Some experience or a demonstrated interest in private M&A and growth equity transactions
• Basic understanding of the diligence process, ancillary workstreams, and signing/closing coordination
• Strong judgment, proactive communication, and relationship management skills
• Outstanding academic credentials and comparable law firm experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly)
• Deal sheet required
