We are seeking a Mid-level Litigation Associate to join the Labor & Employment group in our San Francisco office. This is a full-time, in-office position with a focus on defending gig economy companies in employment-adjacent personal injury matters.

The role offers substantial client contact and direct negotiation with opposing counsel. Responsibilities include conducting detailed fact investigations, drafting and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions.

Our Labor & Employment practice is one of the largest and most prestigious in the country, with a national platform advising employers of all sizes — from Fortune 100 companies to high-tech and traditional business start-ups — on employment advice and counseling, disputes and litigation, international employment and mobility, and union-management relations.

At least 3–5 years of litigation experience
Strong litigation skills, including researching, writing, and arguing motions
Experience conducting complex fact investigations and analysis
Experience taking and defending depositions
High academic credentials
Admitted to and a member in good standing of the California Bar
