Midlevel Insurance Recovery & Counseling Associate — Washington, DC

Seeking a motivated midlevel associate to join a national insurance recovery and counseling practice in the Washington, DC office. The role focuses on counseling policyholders and litigating complex insurance coverage matters, with opportunities to handle arbitrations and high‑stakes disputes.

Successful candidates will work alongside experienced insurance litigators and receive active mentoring while taking on increasing responsibility and client contact. The team handles a mix of coverage analysis, motion practice, discovery, and contested hearings.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• Admission to the state bar in good standing or ability to obtain admission promptly
• 3–6 years of post‑graduate litigation experience, preferably with insurance coverage matters
• Experience analyzing insurance policies, endorsements, exclusions, and coverage frameworks; arbitration and coverage litigation experience preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication, strong organization and time management, and ability to work independently and in teams
