Intellectual Property Life Sciences Patent Prosecution Associate (Midlevel) - Philadelphia

A Philadelphia-based Intellectual Property practice is seeking a midlevel associate to join its life sciences patent prosecution team. The successful candidate will work with clients in the biotechnology and life sciences sectors, preparing and prosecuting patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

The role offers the opportunity to engage in substantive patent prosecution work on groundbreaking technology in an advanced life sciences practice. The firm maintains a strong commitment to professional development and mentoring for associates.

• One to five years of patent prosecution experience
• Advanced degree, preferably a Ph.D., in a life sciences technology area
• Active membership in the Patent Bar (USPTO Registration Number) required
• Must prepare for, take, and pass the patent bar exam either prior to joining or within the first 12 months of hire
