Lead hire for a busy employee benefits and ESOP practice within a major US law firm. The role will focus on advising private-company and sponsor clients on ESOP design, implementation and ongoing plan administration, alongside broader employee benefits work.

The team handles complex benefit structures and works cross-office with other practice groups. The successful candidate will build and lead client relationships, mentor junior lawyers and contribute to business development initiatives.

  • Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
  • Proven partner-level experience counseling on ESOPs and a range of employee benefits matters
  • Track record of business development, client relationship management and lawyer leadership
