Partner, Energy & Environmental — Chicago

Leading national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Energy & Environmental practice in the Chicago office. The role will work on matters spanning energy projects, regulatory compliance, permitting, and environmental due diligence for corporate and project clients.

The successful candidate will join an established team advising developers, utilities, and corporate clients on state and federal regulatory matters as well as transactional and permitting issues. The firm is open to candidates nationwide but expects the partner to be based in or willing to relocate to Chicago.

• Portable book of business of $1.5M+ (USD)
• Established partner-level experience in energy and/or environmental law, including regulatory and permitting matters
• Proven client development and relationship-management skills
• Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and ability to practice in Illinois (or willingness to obtain admission)
