Partner, Transportation & Maritime — Chicago

Senior partner hire to lead and grow a transportation and maritime practice in the Chicago office of a leading national law firm. The role combines client-facing business development with senior-level matter management across transactional, regulatory, and dispute matters in the transportation and maritime sectors.

The incoming partner will lead a team, develop new client relationships, and work closely with cross-practice colleagues on complex matters for carriers, shippers, ports, and related service providers. This is a visible role with responsibility for originating work and mentoring junior lawyers.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Established partner-level experience in transportation and maritime law (transactions, regulatory, and/or litigation)
• Proven track record of originating and developing client relationships and growing practice revenue
• Ability to lead teams and manage high-value, complex matters
