Seeking a lateral partner to build and lead a cross-disciplinary practice in energy, renewable projects, and maritime/construction matters in Portland. The role will advise developers, owners and contractors on project development, transactional and regulatory issues, with particular emphasis on energy tax and gas/regulatory work.

The partner will join a team serving domestic and regional clients on renewables, conventional energy and large-scale marine construction matters. Strong technical knowledge across energy tax, regulatory compliance and construction claims is essential.

  • Proven partner-level experience in energy, renewables or maritime construction law
  • Demonstrated expertise with energy tax and gas/regulatory matters
  • Track record of originating and managing client engagements; business development skills
  • Ability to lead complex, cross-practice teams and mentor junior lawyers
  • Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
