Lateral Partner — Finance & Banking, Intellectual Property and Antitrust

An established law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its San Diego office and help drive growth across its finance and banking, intellectual property and antitrust & competition practices.

The partner will advise clients on middle-market and complex finance transactions, patent litigation and antitrust matters, with a particular emphasis on private equity sponsors. The practice serves clients across three core industries: private equity, life sciences and technology, and energy.

This is an opportunity for a partner-level attorney with a portable practice to build on an existing platform, work alongside colleagues on significant mandates, and contribute to the continued growth of a collaborative and dynamic team.

• Partner-level experience in finance and banking, intellectual property, and/or antitrust & competition
• Portable book of business of $3M+ (USD)
• Demonstrated ability to lead and grow client relationships in relevant industries (private equity, life sciences, technology, or energy)
• Strong academic credentials and a record of success in complex legal matters
