Partner, Intellectual Property — Silicon Valley

Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Silicon Valley intellectual property team focused on patent prosecution and counseling for life sciences clients. The role will combine hands-on prosecution work with strategic counseling and appellate experience.

Ideal candidates will have a proven record handling complex biotech/pharma patent matters, including proceedings before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the International Trade Commission. The team works closely with in-house science and business teams to develop IP strategies across the product lifecycle.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Extensive patent prosecution experience in life sciences/biotech
• Proven appellate and ITC experience or significant post-grant practice
• Active bar admission and ability to practice in relevant jurisdictions
