Partner, Securities & FinTech — Toronto

Opportunity for a partner-level securities lawyer with a focus on FinTech and cryptocurrency to join a major international law firm’s Toronto office. This is an opportunistic hire; the team is open to considering strong partners who can develop and lead the practice locally.

The Toronto office has a concentrated FinTech/securities workload but limited in-office associate headcount, so ideal candidates will be comfortable building out support or bringing junior resources. Entry may be structured as income/national partner or equity partner depending on the size and portability of the candidate's book.

• Portable book of business of CAD/USD $3M+ (portable)
• Established partner-level experience in securities, FinTech and cryptocurrency matters
• Proven ability to originate and maintain client relationships and grow a practice in Toronto
• Willingness/ability to bring 1–2 associates or otherwise source associate support
