Patent Associate – Life Sciences

We are seeking a patent prosecution associate with 1–4 years of law firm experience to join a busy life sciences-focused intellectual property practice. This role is open across multiple offices.

The position involves patent prosecution work for clients in the life sciences and related technology sectors. Candidates must have patent bar membership and a technical background in one of the following fields: cell or molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, bioengineering, organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, cancer biology, pharmacology, biophysics, or digital health focused disciplines.

Advanced degrees are required, and prior patent agent experience is preferred. We look for strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, as well as superior academic credentials.

• 1–4 years of patent prosecution law firm experience
• Patent bar membership
• Advanced degree in cell or molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, bioengineering, organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, cancer biology, pharmacology, biophysics, or a digital health focused discipline
• Prior patent agent experience preferred
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Superior academic credentials
