A New York office of a leading international law firm is seeking an outstanding mid to senior-level associate to join its highly regarded real estate practice. This is an opportunity to advise clients on commercial real estate transactions, financings, and workouts while developing a varied skill set alongside colleagues across multiple offices.

Preferred candidates will bring experience in real estate finance, purchase and sale transactions, and/or joint ventures. The role involves managing matters and working directly with clients, and offers a broad transactional platform within a collaborative team.

Candidates must submit a resume/CV, a cover letter explaining their interest in the position, and a law school transcript. Applicants for U.S. lawyer roles must hold a law degree from an ABA-accredited law school and be a member of the Bar in the United States.

Four to six years of real estate transactional experience, preferably at a large law firm
Experience with real estate finance, purchase and sale, and/or joint ventures
Level-appropriate matter management experience and comfort interacting directly with clients
Strong drafting skills and excellent academic credentials
Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellence
Demonstrated ability to supervise junior attorneys and paralegals
Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school and U.S. Bar membership
