Real Estate Finance Associate — Los Angeles

Top-tier Los Angeles office seeks a Real Estate Finance Associate to join an established real estate finance team. The role focuses on complex commercial real estate lending and related transactional work across the full lending lifecycle.

Typical matters include mezzanine and mortgage financings, preferred equity investments, construction and bridge loans, loan syndications and participations, intercreditor arrangements, and workouts/restructurings. The team advises lenders, borrowers and investors on sophisticated debt structures.

• J.D. and active California bar admission (or eligibility)
• 3-7 years' post-qualification experience in commercial real estate finance at a major law firm
• Substantive experience with mezzanine financings, mortgage loans, construction and bridge loans, loan participations/syndications, intercreditor agreements, and workouts/restructurings
• Strong drafting, transactional experience, and ability to manage client workstreams on complex financings
