Mid-level real estate finance associate position in an Orange County office of a nationally recognized law firm. The role focuses on commercial real estate (CRE) finance matters and offers significant client contact and partner-level collaboration.

Work will include advising sophisticated lenders and investor-backed funds on complex financing transactions across property types (e.g., hotels/resorts, industrial/distribution, office, biomedical research facilities, and skilled nursing). The team environment is collaborative and provides opportunities to draft, negotiate and document construction and term loan facilities.

The role is seeking a motivated, organized attorney with strong legal writing skills who can take responsibility on transactions while working closely with partners and clients. A salary range was posted for this role and will be determined based on experience and other relevant factors.

3–6 years post-qualification experience in commercial real estate finance
Substantive experience representing lenders (national/regional banks, insurance debt funds, private equity lenders)
Proven experience drafting, negotiating and documenting construction and term loan facilities
Strong academic credentials and excellent legal writing and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and engage directly with partners and clients
