A national law firm is looking to add a lawyer to its Leeds real estate team to focus on residential development and land‑use matters. The role will handle development‑site acquisitions and disposals, conditional contracts, planning and related due diligence for housebuilders, developers and investor clients.

The successful candidate will join a busy, client‑facing team with cross‑practice collaboration on construction, tax and finance matters. The role offers exposure to sizeable residential projects and the opportunity to develop a market‑facing residential development practice.

Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) in England & Wales with experience in residential development and land‑use matters.
Proven track record on development site acquisitions/disposals, conditional contracts, planning agreements and related due diligence.
Strong drafting and negotiation skills and ability to manage client relationships and transactions end‑to‑end.
Comfortable working collaboratively across teams and handling a varied caseload to commercial timetables.
