Restructuring & Special Situations Finance Associate — Los Angeles

A market-leading Business Restructuring & Reorganization practice is seeking a finance associate to join its Los Angeles team. The role focuses on top-of-capital-structure representations, with significant exposure to liability management transactions, debtor-in-possession financings, bankruptcy exit financings, and special situations financings.

The associate will represent creditors and borrowers in both chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings, working on high-profile matters for hedge funds, CLOs, private equity funds, and other financial institutions.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative and dynamic restructuring group, handling complex, sophisticated finance and restructuring work at the highest level.

• Law school class years 2019 through 2023.
• Significant experience representing creditors or borrowers in liability management transactions, DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings, and/or special situations financings.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
