Apply in confidence →Growing Compensation & Benefits team seeks a skilled ERISA attorney to advise on tax-qualified retirement plans and health & welfare plans. The role focuses on plan design, administration, compliance, and regulatory matters across transactional and ongoing counseling matters.
Day-to-day work includes drafting plan documents and disclosures, handling compliance testing, preparing IRS and Department of Labor filings, responding to audits, and managing correction matters. Experience with ESOP issues and ERISA plan asset rules is a plus.
- Minimum 6 years of ERISA/employee benefits experience (PQE)
- Deep knowledge of tax-qualified retirement plans and health & welfare plan compliance
- Experience drafting plan documents, disclosures, and managing compliance testing, IRS/DOL filings and audits
- Transactional benefits experience (M&A-related plan issues) and strong drafting, analytical and communication skills
