A leading international law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Employment practice, working across its UK offices. The team is recognised for delivering pragmatic, commercially focused advice to a diverse client base that ranges from multinational organisations and household brands to fast-growing businesses.

The role covers the full spectrum of employment law work, including complex workplace disputes, strategic people issues, business restructurings, cross-border employment matters and the employment aspects of transactions. The team combines technical excellence with a practical understanding of the challenges facing modern employers, and offers the chance to work on high-profile matters alongside leading employment lawyers across a European network.

This is an opportunity to grow within a collaborative and inclusive culture that values people first, ESG and teamwork.

  • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales or another common law jurisdiction with strong respondent employment law experience.
  • 6–9 years' post-qualification experience within a leading international law firm or comparable in-house environment.
  • Proven expertise in employment litigation, including drafting ET3s and schedules/counter schedules of loss, with experience supporting advocacy preparations.
  • Experience of workplace investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes, redundancies, TUPE, employment status and senior exits.
  • Ability to lead larger transactions and cases and manage restructuring, outsourcing and organisational change programmes.
  • Excellent drafting skills and the ability to produce clear, commercially relevant advice.
  • Confident in leading client calls and meetings, with a track record of contributing to business development and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Awareness of regulatory changes affecting financial institutions.
