Join a national and global labour, employment and workplace safety team as a Senior Associate based in Sydney. The role sits in a busy employer-focused practice advising on the full spectrum of employment, industrial relations and workplace safety matters for local and international clients.

You will work on advisory, transactional and litigious matters — including employment-related disputes, workplace health and safety investigations, employment aspects of corporate transactions and urgent injunctions — supported by experienced partners and a broader national team. The work is varied, often time-sensitive and provides strong opportunities for technical and commercial development.

The role includes client-facing work, courtroom and tribunal advocacy, drafting and negotiating employment documentation, delivering training, and contributing to business development activities. You will be expected to manage matter workflows autonomously while collaborating closely with colleagues across the national and global practice.

5–8 years PQE in employment / workplace safety law (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience in both advisory and litigious employment matters, including tribunal and court work
Strong drafting and negotiation skills for contracts, executive agreements and workplace policies
Practical, commercially minded approach with excellent client-service, communication and organisational skills
Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a collaborative national/global team
