Senior Associate — Property Disputes (Leasehold Enfranchisement), Manchester

Senior associate opportunity within a specialist property disputes team in Manchester, focusing on leasehold enfranchisement and related landlord/tenant matters. The role involves managing a varied caseload acting for landlords, investors, developers and leaseholders on statutory lease extensions, collective enfranchisement, right to manage and related disputes.

Day-to-day responsibilities include running enfranchisement and lease-extension claims, negotiating settlements, preparing client reports, and maintaining strong client relationships. The role also supports business development and participates in office and firm-wide training and compliance processes.

• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in residential leasehold enfranchisement and related property disputes.
• Strong technical knowledge of freehold and leasehold enfranchisement, lease extensions, collective enfranchisement and Right to Manage procedures.
• Proven ability to manage litigation/files from instruction to settlement and to negotiate favourable outcomes.
• Excellent written and oral communication, client-facing skills and commercial awareness; ability to work to deadlines and follow firm compliance procedures.
