A senior public law lawyer role within a national dispute resolution team, based in the Canberra office. You will work on a range of public sector matters for Commonwealth and other government clients, including merits and judicial review, administrative law, privacy and freedom of information (FOI) work.

The role sits in a large national disputes practice and offers hybrid and flexible working, career development programs and a focus on health, wellbeing and inclusion. The team acts for government clients across areas such as environment and biosecurity, health, migration, conduct compliance and compensation/liability.

Minimum 5 years post-admission experience, with work on Commonwealth government or public sector matters
Substantive experience in public/administrative law; privacy and FOI experience advantageous
Proven legal drafting, analytical and advocacy skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to run matters autonomously, manage competing deadlines and contribute within a collaborative team
