Experienced attorney sought for a busy Compensation & Benefits practice to advise on tax-qualified retirement plans and health & welfare plans. The role focuses on ERISA compliance, plan design and administration, and counseling on benefit issues arising in transactions.

Responsibilities include drafting plan documents and disclosures, handling compliance testing, preparing IRS and Department of Labor filings, responding to audits, and managing corrections. ESOP experience and familiarity with ERISA plan asset rules are a plus. Competitive compensation reported from $390,000+ (final offer depends on location and experience).

Minimum 6 years' experience advising on tax-qualified retirement plans and health & welfare plans (ERISA/C&B).
Experience with plan design, administration, drafting plan documents and disclosures.
Familiarity with compliance testing, IRS and DOL filings and audits, and correction procedures.
Transaction experience advising on benefit issues in M&A and other deals; ESOP and plan-asset experience preferred.
Excellent academic record with strong writing, oral communication and analytical skills.
