Senior/Principal Associate opportunity in a large, market-leading commercial development & investment real estate team based in Birmingham. The role sits on major, multi-disciplinary development projects and offers exposure across development agreements, joint ventures, site assembly, investment acquisitions/disposals and commercial lettings.

You will join a specialist CDI team advising investors, developers and institutional stakeholders on mixed-use schemes, offices, retail, life sciences, hotels, industrial/logistics and other commercial property sectors. The role combines technical drafting and negotiation with project management and client-facing responsibility.

Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 PQE in commercial/mixed‑use development and investment property work
Strong technical drafting and negotiation skills (development agreements, JVs, options, complex leases)
Proven ability to manage a caseload to tight deadlines and work on large multi-disciplinary projects
Experience supervising junior fee-earners and contributing to business development
