Join a well-established UK law practice in Newcastle as a Solicitor specialising in Court of Protection matters. You will work within a dedicated public law team that acts for people who lack capacity, supporting deputyship applications, welfare and financial decisions, and professional deputy/trustee matters.

The role offers a varied caseload including clients affected by acquired injury and dementia. You will manage your own matters, take client instructions, and work with senior colleagues on higher‑value or complex cases while delivering high standards of client care.

  • Newly qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with demonstrable interest or some experience in Court of Protection / Mental Capacity work
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise competing demands
  • Strong client‑facing skills, commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Proactive team player who can also work independently; eligible to work in the UK
