Supervisor (Solicitor/CILEX) — Property or Motor Recoveries, Birmingham

Opportunity for a qualified lawyer authorised to conduct litigation to supervise and develop a sub-team within an established recoveries practice. The role sits within either the Property Recoveries or Motor Recoveries team and focuses on delivering strong client service while driving team financial performance.

The supervisor will manage day-to-day case progression, identify and escalate client complaints or emerging risks, and support recruitment, induction and ongoing technical development for team members. Line management responsibility includes performance management, coaching and conducting investigations where needed.

• Qualified solicitor or CILEX lawyer authorised to conduct litigation
• Previous supervision or team-management experience (essential when managing complex roles)
• Sufficient technical ability to supervise a recoveries sub-team
• Proven people-management skills: coaching, mentoring and performance management
• Demonstrable commercial awareness and record of achieving financial targets
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines
• Confident written and oral communicator; high standards of personal compliance
