Senior associate-level role within a global projects, energy and infrastructure practice based in Tokyo. The team advises on project development, construction and project finance matters across the energy transition and large infrastructure sectors.

The role will focus on advising on EPC/construction contracts, revenue contracts (including PPA and hydrogen/oil & gas related agreements), concessions and other commercial documentation in the context of greenfield project development. You will work across multi-jurisdictional deal teams and coordinate with project finance, regulatory and commercial specialists.

Responsibilities include drafting, negotiating and revising project and construction documents, managing matter delivery and client expectations, supervising junior lawyers, and contributing to business development and knowledge-sharing activities.

Qualified lawyer with c.2.0–6.5 years PQE.
Practical experience on EPC/construction contracts and project development matters; project finance context preferred.
Experience advising sponsors preferred; lender, offtaker, government or contractor-side experience also relevant.
Strong drafting, negotiation and matter-management skills; ability to supervise junior team members.
Commercial mindset, business development aptitude, excellent written and oral English communication skills.
