Associate / Senior Associate — Corporate M&A, Sydney

An established Sydney corporate team is hiring an Associate or Senior Associate to work on domestic and cross-border M&A and corporate transactions. The team advises a mix of corporate and sponsor clients across public and private deals, buy‑and‑build strategies and commercial corporate work.

The role offers regular deal execution responsibility, exposure to all stages of transactions (due diligence, documentation, negotiations and closings) and close mentoring from senior lawyers. The group emphasises commercial thinking, client service and practical drafting skills.

You'll join a collaborative, hands‑on team with opportunities to broaden sector experience and take on increased responsibility on live matters.

• Qualified solicitor admitted in the relevant Australian jurisdiction.
• Experience on M&A or broader corporate transactions in a law firm or in‑house environment.
• Strong drafting and transaction‑execution skills, including due diligence and document negotiation.
• Commercial judgment, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage matter workflows and client expectations.
