Join a global legal consulting panel supporting corporate and commercial matters across Australia. The role is for experienced corporate lawyers who want a self-directed consulting career, providing M&A, commercial contracts, private equity and related advisory support on fixed-term or ad-hoc assignments.

Assignments vary in length and scope, including in-house secondments, project-based roles and support for deal teams. Typical engagements range from short ad-hoc support to multi-month placements, and are usually part-time or flexible to suit consulting arrangements.

Successful candidates will be self-starting, client-focused and comfortable working across complex, multi-jurisdictional projects with access to dedicated consultant support and firm resources while on assignment.

  • Qualified to practise in Australia with unrestricted practising rights
  • Minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience; experience in top-tier law firms, financial institutions or in-house teams preferred
  • Strong technical skills in M&A, commercial contracts and/or private equity; experience in common-law jurisdictions advantageous
  • Self-starter with excellent communication, stakeholder management and client service skills; able to work autonomously on consulting assignments
  • Right to live and work in Australia and willingness to engage as a casual employee or independent consultant
