A Solicitor is sought for a Property Recoveries team in Belfast to lead plaintiff-side recoveries and related defences for commercial clients, principally in the insurance sector. The role focuses on subrogated property claims, uninsured loss recoveries, recovery of overpayments and handling property-damage indemnity and defence matters.

You will manage your own caseload of pre‑litigation and litigated matters, supervise junior team members, and support the team manager with case strategy and delivery. The position requires strong commercial judgement, adherence to SLAs/KPIs and active contribution to client service and business development activity.

Qualified Solicitor in Northern Ireland (preferred)
Experience in property damage or commercial litigation desirable
Interest in and willingness to learn technical aspects of property-damage investigation
Commercial approach to claims resolution and evidence of meeting personal financial targets
Ability to supervise and support junior colleagues and work collaboratively
High level of compliance with SLAs, protocols and KPIs
IT literate (Microsoft Office); case-management system experience advantageous
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and clear written and oral communication
