Seeking a mid-level associate to join a national compensation & benefits team in New York. The role focuses on equity and executive compensation, employee benefits matters, and related transactional and securities work.

Typical matters include advising on equity plans and awards, executive pay arrangements, proxy disclosure, IRC Sections 280G and 409A, and providing support on M&A and IPO-related compensation issues. The team offers a comprehensive benefits package and parental/fertility support.

  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in compensation & benefits/ERISA
  • Experience with equity- and executive-compensation matters, proxy disclosures, and IRC Sections 280G and 409A
  • Exposure to compensation issues in M&A and IPO contexts
  • Excellent writing, analytical and oral communication skills; strong academic credentials
