Opportunity for an experienced front-end construction/projects lawyer to join a flexible legal resourcing team supporting major infrastructure and government-facing engagements in Sydney. The role focuses on advising on contract structure and delivery, identifying legal and commercial risk throughout project lifecycles, and supporting commercial teams on complex matters.

Ideal candidates will be technically strong in drafting, negotiation and legal project management, able to work autonomously across shifting priorities and engage with senior stakeholders. Assignments are typically fixed-term or project-based, offering flexibility and variety of work across infrastructure sectors.

  • Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in construction/projects law
  • Experience on major infrastructure projects (road, rail, energy, renewables) and/or advising government entities preferred
  • Strong drafting, negotiation and commercial risk‑analysis skills in construction contracts
  • Demonstrated legal project management, stakeholder engagement and problem‑solving ability
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritise competing demands
  • Current practising certificate and right to live and work in Australia
